How to use our blends in gas grills:
It just takes three easy steps:
Step 1: Prepare the packet
Remove the outer product packaging and puncture the hole at the top of the packet.
(This hole is where the flavorful smoke will escape from the packet as it cooks.)
Step 2: Position the packet on the grill
Raise the grate and place the packet on your flavor bar/flame cover. For best results:
- align the grove on the bottom of the packet with the flavor bar on your grill
- orient the packet so that the top part with the punctured hole is toward the front of your grill. This will cause that the smoke will curl around inside your barbecue, ensuring a more even flavor and preventing the smoke from simply escaping out the back.
Step 3: Grill as you normally would
You are now all set. Simply heat up your barbecue, and grill as normal and continue grilling until food is done. The packet will start to smoke in 2-3 minutes.
TIP: We recommend grilling with the lid ON to capture all that flavorful smoke!
