DAY 28: Tri-Tip Appetizers (with leftover tri-tip from Day 26)

On Day 28, we were having a game night and needed a finger food for dinner, so Jac came up with the perfect solution -- Tri-Tip Appetizers with leftover tri-tip smoked with our Grapevine & Applewood Blend.  

To make the appetizers, we sliced the meat thinly against the grain and then added different toppings like avocado, cheeses, tomatoes, capers...anything you find delicious. We then rolled them up and kept them closed with toothpicks.

Chef's Tip: The more you experiment here, the better you will get at creating colorful, tasty one bite morsels with the ingredients that you have on hand at the time. 

We served them with some homemade carrot soup.  (It was kind of a use-the-leftovers night.)
