On day 44, we made A LOT of pork chops grilled in our Grapevine & Oak blend.
Pork chops taste delicious is ALL of our blends! Today we were in the mood to use the Grapevine & Oak blend, as oak wood provides a medium to strong smoky flavor that complements pork without overpowering it. And, as always, the grapevine provides a delicious, balancing sweetness. Together they produce a unique perfectly smoked, lightly sweet experience that's unlike anything you've tasted before.
Chef's Tip: To carmelize the chop, cook it to medium rare. They will finish cooking to a perfect medium on the plate.
We served this delicious pork with black pepper and garlic mashed potatoes and roasted acorn squash. Yum!
As we mentioned before, we made A LOT of pork chops today. We're planning ahead for the coming week! In one grilling session -- with just one Grapevine & Oak blend packet -- we made ALL this delicious food:
- the pork that we used for dinner tonight
- leftovers of this exact meal for lunches tomorrow
- Korean Ricecake soup on day 44
- leftovers of the soup that we will take for lunches the following day
- hot dogs, grilled with the same packet after the pork chops were done, then set aside for dinner on day 46
Wow, that's a lot of delicious food that we made for DAYS to come with just one Wine'd Up in Smoke packet!
